2020 was the year of the crown pandemic, Brexit but also Megxit. Less than twelve months have passed since Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) turned their backs on the British royal family. The Royals literally fled to the US and have been living in seclusion with their son Archie (1) in California ever since.
Every now and then the two of them come into the spotlight. Most recently, it was Meghan who spoke openly about her miscarriage in November in the New York Times. Now, shortly before Christmas Eve, the two of them give another sign of life with a cute Christmas card.
British animal welfare organization Mayhew, of which Meghan is a sponsor, is making the card public on its website and via Instagram. The Christmas greeting is: “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
Archie has a personal playhouse
The card shows an illustration of the little family. Harry, Meghan and Archie play together in the garden. You can also recognize the dogs Pula and Guy. A cordial touch: son Archie now has red hair and is otherwise completely behind Papa Harry.
“The original photo of the family was taken by Meghan’s mother at her home earlier this month,” US magazine “People” quoted a royal spokesperson as saying. Consequently, the backyard of Meghan and Harry’s home in California can be seen on the map, as well as Archie’s personal playhouse. (nim)
