- BVB gave a brutal applause at home 1: 5 against Stuttgart.
It was a furious start for Union Berlin in the Bundesliga game on Saturday night. After just over 3 minutes, the ball sank into the net: Grischa Prömel had not given Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer a chance with his header.
Union sins in conclusion
Later, too, the home team dominated the game and could have extended the lead. However, inaccuracies in the conclusion and Neuer prevented the 2-0. Unusual mistakes appeared at Bayern again and again, and the Hansi Flick team never encountered their dreaded pressure.
In the second half, however, the tie fell. Robert Lewandowski scored 1: 1 in the 67th minute. But it was Union that came closest to the winning goal in the later stages.
On the table, Leipzig can match Bayern in points thanks to a 2-0 win over Werder Bremen. Marcel Sabitzer and Dani Olmo scored both of RB’s goals before the break.
