The identity of the woman’s body found in a forest in Egnach TG has been clarified. According to the police of the canton of Thurgau, it is a 62-year-old woman who has been missing since the end of October. The circumstances of the crime and the perpetrator are currently unclear.
Investigations by the Institute of Forensic Medicine showed that the human remains can be assigned to the 62-year-old Swiss woman who disappeared in Thurgau.
The woman is Marianne G. * from Buttighofen TG. The 62-year-old left in a blue Opel Agila on October 29 between 6.30 am and 12 noon. He parked the car in the Vitaparcours parking lot on the Scherzingen-Schönenbaumgarten connecting road. G. has since disappeared.
I did not find the whole body
Particularly terrifying: Apparently, G’s entire body was not found. The exact cause of death and the perpetrator are still unknown. The circumstances are the subject of further investigations by the Thurgau Cantonal Police and the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
