According to the ad, the main alleged culprit ran a CBD shop in St-Maurice. There he sold drugs and supplied consumers and distributors in the Chablais and Central Valais area.
The 43-year-old main culprit was verified by customs administration at the end of 2019 when he entered France. He found 40 kilograms of hashish and one and a half kilograms of cocaine in the man’s car. Shortly afterwards, the police of the canton of St-Maurice arrested the accomplice.
In the course of the subsequent investigation, the police in the St-Maurice, Bex, Lavey and Saxon area were able to seize around 30 kilograms of cannabis products packaged for sale, 400 grams of cocaine and 400 ecstasy pills. In addition, the police had seized 100,000 francs, several thousand euros, various firearms and valuable watches.
The Valais canton prosecutor has opened a criminal investigation. The trial is likely to take place in the coming months.
