The “Nebelspalter” will be published in the future by Winterthur Klarsicht AG. The satirical magazine should also be available online from spring 2021.
Winterthur Klarsicht AG acquires the satirical magazine “Nebelspalter”. Markus Somm, former editor-in-chief and editor of Basler Zeitung (Baz), is the new editor-in-chief.
Klarsicht AG was founded by Somm and other investors. Thomas Engeli, the previous owner of the “Nebelspalters”, will act as editor. It takes a stake in Klarsicht AG and moves on to its board of directors, as Nebelspalter Verlag announced on Thursday.
Konrad Hummler will take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Marco Ratschiller will remain in charge of the editorial team.
Klarsicht AG wants to relaunch the “Nebelspalter” digitally, it says in the message. Around sixty investors would inject “considerable” funds for this. The digital edition will be online in spring 2021. The print edition will appear unchanged until further notice.
