Commotion in the run-up to Christmas: Graubünden restaurants have to close

According to an internal letter which is not yet public, but which is available for “suedostschweiz.ch”, the Graubünden government has decided on new crown measures. Among other things, all bars and restaurants will be required to close for 14 days starting Friday, December 4 at 11 p.m. However, the following are still allowed:

  • Home delivery and food distribution until 10 p.m.
  • Take out at the counter until 10 pm
  • The restaurants connected to the hotel facilities are for hotel guests only.

The reason for the stricter measures is the development of the number of cases. Because in several German-speaking cantons and especially in Graubünden, the number of infections is increasing slightly or remains stable at a high level. In Graubünden, the average number of views is 1.02, although the effective value is likely to be higher. According to the Federal Office of Public Health, the number should be below 0.7. Graubünden thus has the fourth highest number of reproductions in Switzerland.
