On matchday nine, Lucerna and Vaduz achieved their first victory of the season in the Super League. The duo are pushing Servette, promoted last year, to the bottom of the table.
Austrian Louis Schaub, Zuger Dejan Sorgic and Senegalese Ibrahima Ndiaye scored the goals in Lucerne’s 3-1 victory over Servette. The first success of the season was snatched from Central Switzerland on Wednesday in Vaduz in the final minutes. Against a weak Servette, the three points were no longer in danger after the third goal in the 79th minute.
Like Lucerne, Vaduz also won for the first time. In 4: 1 against Sion, the promoted team made the decision with three goals in the opening quarter of the second half. Tunahan Cicek played himself with two goals in the foreground.
Servette had to let Lucerne and Vaduz pass. Geneva has not won five games. A small consolation for Servette: at least after losing points, FC Luzern are even worse.
