The ski season has been in high altitude destinations for almost a month. The beautiful weather over the high fog drew many skiers to the slopes this weekend as well. In Valais there was already talk of the best preseason. Of course, mountain tourism experts like to see all of this, but what really matters is that the railways can run during Christmas and New Years. But that is exactly what has been questioned since first Italy and then France and Germany made the demand to keep ski areas closed until January 10.
