In a car accident on a snow-covered street in Muotathal SZ, a 21-year-old driver was seriously injured on Friday night.
The car had rolled over several times and stopped on the roof.
The accident occurred after 7:00 p.m. in the Kreuzbühl area, as announced this Saturday by the police of the canton of Schwyz. The driver had come to the side of the snowy road and the vehicle rolled over several times on the sloping edge: it finally stopped after about 100 meters on the roof.
The trapped and seriously injured driver had to be rescued by firefighters. After first aid from the rescue service, he was transferred to a hospital outside the canton in a helicopter belonging to the Swiss Air Rescue.
