The Federal Office of Public Health has Wednesday 8,270 new cases who tested positive for the coronavirus in recent days. So that lies 7-Day Avg at 6983. These are 13 percent less than in the previous week. Currently, the trend is down.
The office also reports 86 new deaths.
Report the cantons 3,769 people hospitalized for Covid-19. These are 15 percent more than in the previous week.

First local case in New Zealand since August
Health officials in New Zealand report that they have found an unexplained case of coronavirus infection. This is a blow to the country, which has consistently reported successes in its attempts to prevent the spread of the virus.
Authorities say the mysterious case of a student is concerning. Because the person had no connections to risk areas or people who had entered the country, according to initial findings, the infection must have been reported within New Zealand. The affected student was quarantined and the chain of infection is now being examined, health authorities said.
At the Auckland City Business Center, people were asked to work from home first, if possible. New Zealand is still in a “very strong” position to get the virus under control, said new Covid-19 Combat Minister Chris Hipkins.
Authorities also confirmed two more new cases at the border. In total, the country has reported around 1,600 infections so far, 25 people have died in connection with the disease.

Swedish gastronomy has to close before. In Sweden, restaurants and bars can no longer serve alcohol for a week after 10 pm starting on Friday; bars must close half an hour later. This was announced by Prime Minister Stefan Löfven on Wednesday.
Spain requires a negative PCR test upon entry. Participants in Spain from Corona risk areas must present a negative PCR test as of November 23. The Madrid Ministry of Health announced that the test should not take more than 72 hours.
Further decrease in the number of passengers at Zurich airport. In October, 468,616 passengers flew over Zurich airport, as announced by the airport operator on Wednesday night. That was 84 percent less than in October of last year. Compared to September, the minus was a good 9 percent.
