“We have to interrupt”: several TV stations abruptly end Trump broadcasts
While Trump has been preaching for weeks that vote-by-mail is corrupt and prone to fraud, it was mostly his monologue last night that caused astonishment around the world.

He repeatedly described himself as the big winner of the presidential election and also claimed that the election results were falsified and that Biden only led on the basis of illegal votes. Then the President spoke again of electoral fraud, and tonight he was still guilty of any evidence that came close to supporting his statements.
Due to these false statements, several television stations broadcasting Trump’s speech live were forced to intervene. They intervened, stopped the broadcast abruptly, and disconnected Trump.
MSNBC’s Brian Williams cut the president uncompromising after just 35 seconds:

CNBC host Shepard Smith has never interrupted an American president in his 30-year career, as he would later explain. Not that night. CNBC also abruptly disconnected Trump. Enough is enough, says Smith.
On ABC News, Visibly irritated Linsey Davis takes the floor during Trump’s monologue, thanking viewers for following the speech, but immediately points out:
The same scenario occurs with NBC Nightly News. Lester Holt interrupts the transmission with the following words:
Well-known television stations CNN and Fox showed Trump’s speech in its entirety, but immediately subjected it to a fact check and corrected some of his statements.
By directly intervening in the broadcast of Trump’s speech, the other stations show that they are less and less willing to broadcast and spread false information, even if it comes from the US president.
Seemingly unimpressed by the negative reactions, Donald Trump shared several excerpts of his 17-minute speech on his Twitter channel, all of which, with the exception of one clip, were all censored by Twitter. Of course, Trump did not leave this alone:
With great enthusiasm and equally concern, more electoral results are expected in the next few hours. (Mountain range)
