Uri limits the number of event participants to 30 people
On Tuesday, Uri’s governing council, in addition to federal legislation, approved regulations to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
(pw) On the basis of the current assessment of the situation and in consultation with the other cantons of central Switzerland, the governing council of Uri has decided on two more stringent measures. Starting next Friday, November 6 at midnight, the maximum number of participants for events will be reduced from 50 to 30 people. Additionally, a registration requirement for restaurant and event guests will be introduced using an appropriate system. This is to ensure that contact details can be immediately sent to Contact Tracing in electronic form in order to identify and notify people suspected of being infected.
In addition to the personal details and contact details of the guests, restaurant operators must also record their time of entry and exit. Because the close contact persons of an infected person can be determined more specifically, safety and trust increase when visiting a restaurant. Contact tracing must be ensured in the canton of Uri in the long term to contain as much as possible the spread of the coronavirus. All measures of the governing council are limited to November 30.
