Germany: EU plunges Hoffenheim into crisis

Union Berlin, who have not lost since their opening loss to Augsburg, won 3-1 at Hoffenheim in the final game of Matchday 6 of the Bundesliga. Hoffenheim’s Robert Skov flew off the field after an emergency brake, Max Kruse used the penalty to make it 1-0. Outnumbered, Hoffenheim drew through former Gen. Munas Dabbur forward (80th). But the Berliners fought back again. Joel Pohjanpalo made the preliminary decision 5 minutes before the end. Cedric Teuchert’s third goal in injury time was just an encore. Hoffenheim have been hoping for a win since the 4-1 win against Bayern Munich 5 weeks ago, and since then there has only been one point from 4 games.

England: Fulham’s first win

In the Premier League, Fulham celebrated their first victory on Matchday 7. The “Cottagers” beat West Bromwich 2-0 in the basement match. Leicester City catapulted into second place on the table. The “Foxes” prevailed in Leeds 4: 1 and celebrated their fifth victory of the season.
