The cantons of central Switzerland announce different rules depending on the power of the federal government
Lucerne, Obwalden and Schwyz are partially tightening federal regulations in the crown crisis. The other stands in Central Switzerland are still waiting. Meanwhile, hospitals are preparing to receive more Covid-19 patients.
The call for help from the cantons was strong, also from Central Switzerland. The federal government should take more stringent and uniform measures. The Central Swiss Health Directors Conference, for example, unanimously called for only 30 people to be admitted to events, as is already the case in Schwyz. As is known, things turned out differently: the Federal Council set a limit of 50 people last Wednesday. This upper limit does not apply to people working on the implementation of the event. Political meetings and political and civil society rallies are excluded from the restriction. As is now becoming clear, the mosaic of measures criticized will remain in our region.
