The website of the election campaign of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, was hacked on Tuesday at 4 pm local time: Whoever visited the site saw the following text: “This site has been seized. The world has grown tired of the fake news that President Donald J. Trump spreads every day. It is time for the world to know the truth. “
As “Techcrunch” writes, the allegations against the United States government and even against Trump personally followed, all of them unproven. One of them: The Trump administration is said to be involved in the origins of the coronavirus.
The website has been tagged with logos of the FBI and the US Department of Justice, and the suspected hackers are now being searched.
Campaign manager confirms the hack
The hackers also posted a link on the site where cryptocurrencies could be deposited; the hackers allegedly promised “compromising information” about Trump.
It only took a few minutes and the website was back to normal. Campaign manager Tim Murtaugh confirmed the trick. Work with the police to catch the perpetrators. No sensitive data was published.
Donald Trump’s Twitter account was also allegedly hacked after a Dutch journalist guessed his password (maga2020!), But was unable to provide any solid evidence. Trump hotels have also not been spared from hacking attacks in the past. (my I)
