Briton jumps out of a helicopter from 40 meters without a parachute and something goes wrong

A British man jumped into the sea from a helicopter from a height of about 40 meters to set a world record. However, when 34-year-old John Bream briefly passed out when the water hit the water at about 75 miles per hour, he had to be rescued by divers.

It was not initially clear whether the British action would be officially recognized in these circumstances.

Helpers reported an awkward jump in which the former paratrooper hit his head. On the way to the hospital, however, he spoke up and joked again, British media reported. The daring action took place off the small island of Hayling, near the city of Portsmouth, in southern England.

The former paratrooper, nicknamed “The Flying Fish”, also wants to raise money for charity with the campaign. The money will go to veterans.

The Guinness Book of Records lists many daring actions, including the highest jump off a cliff without assistance: In 2015, the German-Brazilian Laso Schaller jumped from a waterfall almost 59 meters high in Switzerland. The extreme athlete had been preparing for it for several years.
