Just a second behind was Maja Wloszczowska from Poland. Ariane Lüthi, 37, from Bern, completed the strong Swiss result as a bronze winner.
In the men’s category, Marc Stutzmann was ranked 17th as the best representative of Swiss cycling. Defending world champion Héctor Páez (COL) lost a good 16 minutes after 110 km.
