All sessions and starting times for this weekend’s “Michelin Grand Prix of Aragon” have been postponed up to an hour because it is too cold in MotorLand that morning.
MotorLand Aragón’s 5,078 km circuit has been an integral part of the World Cup calendar since 2010, and in 2020 there will be two weekends in a row in northeast Spain. Due to the crown, the date was also set one month later than the previous year.
The first free practice session in the MotoGP class started on Friday morning half an hour later than originally planned because the asphalt temperature at 9.50am was only 10 degrees.
It didn’t stop there: Initially, only the weekend morning sessions were postponed for half an hour each, but now the entire 2020 “Michelin Grand Prix of Aragon” schedule has been adjusted due to the cool weather.
This also affects Sunday’s start times – the MotoGP race doesn’t start until 3pm
