Corona’s quarantine after trip should go away: Bern rushes forward

One trip to Berlin is enough. Or a flight to Sardinia. Both regions are on the Swiss crown risk list. Anyone traveling back from this area must be in quarantine. A negative corona test is of no use. The only cure accepted by the authorities is ten days in the room of the home.

That should change. And very soon. Health Minister Alain Berset (48) announced earlier this week that a new regime would be applied. Nothing is officially known about the content of the new rules. The truth, however, is that the cantons will have until the end of the week to express their wishes.
