Tasar started his football career in Germany at VfB Waldshut and SV 08 Laufenburg. The attacker left his first traces in Switzerland in the offspring of the Old Boys of Basel, for whom he later also appeared in the 1st team.
After a brief trip to Turkey, he moved to FC Aarau in the 2016/17 season, in which he also made his Challenge League debut. After a strong 2018/19 season (13 goals and 9 assists) Tasar passed Servette in the Super League.
