Zeqiri signed with Brighton

Up-and-coming Lausanne star Andi Zeqiri will be moving to Brighton & Hove Albion with immediate effect. The 21-year-old forward signed a four-year contract with the Southern England Premier League club with an option for one more year. According to media reports, the transfer fee for the Swiss Under-21 international is 5.4 million euros. Zeqiri made a significant contribution to Lausanne’s promotion to the Super League last season with 17 goals. For Zeqiri it is the second transfer abroad. In 2016, at the age of 17, he moved from Lausanne to the offspring of Juventus from Turin. After a year he returned to Vaud.

Sorgic from Auxerre to Lucerne

Former FCL junior player Dejan Sorgic will move from AJ Auxerre to FC Luzern. On Thursday, Sorgic signed a contract with Central Switzerland until June 30, 2023. On Friday, Sorgic will train for the first time with Fabio Celestini’s team. The 31-year-old left FCL in 2013 and then played for Schaffhausen, Kriens, Thun and, most recently, Auxerre in sequence.
