Nestlé says goodbye to Stalden cream.
The food company sells the traditional brand to the food manufacturer Glarus Guma.
The decision is in line with the strategic direction of the Nestlé Group. Additionally, their goal is to ensure the long-term growth and success of the Stalden brand, the group wrote in a message on its website last week. The Tamedia newspapers report on it today Tuesday.
According to Nestlé, the brand, which is practically only known in Switzerland, no longer fits strategically in the range. The sale must be completed before the end of the year, there will be a termination. Production is likely to move from Konolfingen in Bern to the Glarus region. The sale price was not mentioned.
