Former AfD spokesperson: “Can migrants shoot later? Or gas »
It is well known that the alternative for Germany does not stop verbally. Now, however, the extreme statements of a former party spokesman have been made public, they are not only causing horror on social media.
There are some amazing lines from Christian Lüth, former press spokesman for Alternative für Deutschland (AfD). In an open but confidential conversation, Lüth said, among other things:

Christian Lüth has worked for the party since the AfD was founded, he holds relevant positions, initially he is a spokesman for the party, then a spokesman for the parliamentary group. One of the most trusted is Alexander Gauland, honorary chairman of the AfD party. When the recordings were made, Lüth was still a spokesperson. Since then, the 44-year-old has been released, not least because he described himself as a “fascist.” However, as “Zeit Online” writes, Lüth has not been fired until today, only the party gave him leave of absence.
The passage with the migrants is just one of many that the former AfD spokesperson has expressed. He also said, for example: “The worse Germany does, the better for the AfD. That sucks, of course, for our kids too. (…) But that will probably keep us going. “You have to make sure that Germany is doing even worse, that would benefit the AfD politically.” If everything went well now (…), the AfD would be of the three percent. We don’t want to. So we have to think of a tactic between: How bad can it be for Germany? And: how much can we provoke? It’s so. (…) It’s difficult, very difficult. “
“Zeit Online” emphasizes that there is nothing to suggest that Lüth meant his lines in an ironic way or simply made a bad joke. Not even with regard to the statement on migrants. YouTuber Lisa Licentia asked in an interview: “Above all, do you think you are interested in more immigrants coming?” As mentioned at the beginning, Lüth replied: “Yes. Because then the AfD is better. We can still shoot everyone after. That is not a problem at all. Or gas, or whatever you want. I do not care!”
Christian Lüth did not comment on the recordings when asked by “Zeit Online”. In ProSieben documentation, the former spokesperson is only called a “senior AfD official” for legal reasons. “Zeit Online” decided, however, that there was a public interest in the remarks and, because Lüth held a prominent position in the party at the time of the conversation, decided to make his name public.
