It crashed in Volketswil ZH on Saturday. It was an Audi, a VW delivery van and a station wagon. Five people were injured, some of them seriously, Zurich canton police said.
Shortly before 2 pm, a 24-year-old man drove his truck on the ring road towards Volketswil. Suddenly he heard a knock and his vehicle pulled into the opposite lane, where it collided with an oncoming 32-year-old driver’s delivery van. It skidded and collided with the Audi of a 44-year-old man before the delivery truck overturned.
The pickup driver and his dog were not injured in the accident. A 23-year-old passenger was seriously injured in the van. The 44-year-old Audi driver, his 37-year-old co-driver and two children (2 and 8) were also seriously injured. It’s a family. The driver of the van was taken to the hospital for a check. (man)
