Hoarau missed the Hollywood final against YB – FCZ gambled for victory despite the majority

Zion – YB 0: 0

After an interruption of almost four years to the day, FC Sion has not lost again in the championship. The 0-0 on the tourbillon was more or less fair. After 15 failed attempts in a row, Sion was able to score again in the championship against YB. The last time the Sion team scored a point against YB in late September 2016, at that time also 0-0 on the tourbillon.

During the periods of pressure around half-time and in the finals, the Bernese showed why they are champions and not FC Sion. However, seen throughout the 90 minutes, coach Fabio Grosso’s team won the point with a selfless performance.

In the first half, both teams were close to the first goal. Geoffroy Serey Die forced YB goalkeeper David von Ballmoos to make an excellent save with one of his well-known powerful long-range shots. After a good half hour, only inches were left to lead the Bernese. After a very well played counterattack with Miralem Sulejmani, Christian Fassnacht hit the crossbar with praise on Kevin Fickentscher. The edge of the goal, the post, hit for YB in the 92nd minute, the great Valaisian Vincent Sierro, but from a very acute angle.

Hoarau slips past the winning goal

For 65 minutes, Guillaume Hoarau avoided having to play against “his” Young Boys with two hearts on his chest. After being replaced, the Frenchman did it in such a way that in the end he did not have to worry about a conscience. He was generous in defending the new team without doing any harm to the old one. In the 84th minute, the Frenchman is suddenly 1-0 on his feet, but he doesn’t hit the ball well from close range.

Hoarau on his debut in Sion:

I’m tired, happy and a little disappointed. Of course he could have made this success. “

In championship games during the short summer break, it was the first points loss for coach Gerardo Seoane’s team after seven wins. The Bernese also failed to score a goal for the first time in twelve championship games.

FCZ – Lugano 2: 2

FC Zurich has to wait for the first success in almost three months. With 2: 2 in the home game against Lugano, the winless series was extended to ten championship games. The FCZ awarded the compensation in overtime.

The loss of points was even more annoying for FC Zurich because the city club received excess late compensation. From the 53rd minute and the yellow-red card against Lugano captain Jonathan Sabbatini, FCZ played with one more man. Consequently, he dominated the game, but failed after Antonio Marchesano’s first goal to make the decision with the third goal on one of numerous occasions.

Despite the latest disappointment, FC Zurich were on the mend. After the Cup embarrassment against the lower-class Chiasso and the solid performance in the away loss by a narrow margin against the champion Young Boys, the Zurich team improved again and played against the Ticino team, which had eleven Undefeated competitive matches.

Furthermore, FCZ could have found what they missed so much last season: at Lasse Sobiech they now seem to know a player in their ranks who is capable of leading the defense. The German, taken over by 1. FC Köln, capped his good performance with a header to make it 1-1 in the 38th minute.

Lugano only played in the opening quarter hour with the confidence of a team that has not lost since the beginning of July. In this phase, Ticino could have decided the game early. But only Alexander Gerndt was successful. But this first 1-0 was much better: after a corner, the Swede launched a volley exactly under the crossbar from twelve meters.

Too Hollywood in the ‘Principality of Svoboda’ – Lausanne as SC Bern des Welschlandes

Lausanne has a wonderful arena, a lively crowd, and a team good enough for the title. But Lausanne simply cannot find peace. Now, Czech and Canadian ice hockey legends are shaking up the league. That’s too Hollywood even for Lausanne.

Petr Svoboda really knows everything about hockey. He has played over 1,000 NHL games, won Olympic gold (1998) and was a Stanley Cup winner with Montreal (1986), later agent for greats such as Jaromir Jagr, Jakub Voracek and Denis Malgin.

But you don’t know the details of our ice hockey yet. The Bohemian Most man is not the first supposed hockey grandmaster to need a kick-off time with us. And it is not impossible that it is brief. Either …
