The friends were playing a five-franc bet on the “Dolphin’s Pearl” machine when suddenly the fanfare rang out, the casino wrote in a message. After the initial cheers, they both broke down in tears. “They thanked the casino staff with a generous tip and said their goodbyes to widely celebrate the winnings,” the casino writes.
As the casino director, Marcus Jost, confirmed to BLICK, the women won the jackpot Thursday night.
Winners don’t believe their eyes
Now a video is circulating on WhatsApp that supposedly shows the two lucky ones in the casino. In the little movie that was recorded by a guest, you can see the same amount of winnings reported by the casino in the message.
The two women hardly believe what they see, they cover their mouths with their hands and talk to each other enthusiastically, as the recordings show. “Okay, ma’am! A water or a Prosecco?” Asks a casino employee. One of the two holds a bag of 20. “I’ve already ordered two waters without gas,” she says nervously.
