In an apartment in ZurichWollishofen there was a violent family dispute on Thursday morning. Police officers called shortly before 7 a.m. found a 47-year-old man seriously injured, as well as his 50-year-old wife and 18-year-old daughter. Despite attempts to resuscitate, the father died at the scene. The two women had to be taken to hospital with injuries. Zurich city police wrote in a message.

When police spokesman Marco Cortesi appeared in front of the media near the crime scene shortly after eleven o’clock, Balberstrasse between Butzenstrasse and Lettenholzstrasse was cordoned off on both sides. Approximately in the middle is a police control vehicle, and more police cars line the 200-meter-long section.
