FC Luzern has yet to issue an official press release, but our newspaper has learned from well-informed circles: 20-year-old Samuel Alabi from Ghana is supposed to strengthen the league club.

Samuel Alabi is an attacking midfielder who recently worked for Ashdod FC in Israel’s top division. Ghana’s only 1.66-meter tall footballer last played for the same club as former Lucerne center forward Blessing Eleke before his engagement in central Switzerland.

Samuel Alabi, 20, scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist in a total of 18 games in Israel’s top division. Until the summer of 2019 he played for FC Dreams in his native Ghana.

The transfer of FC Luzern has yet to be confirmed. On his English Wikipedia page, it is already said that Samuel Alabi signed with the FCL on September 22, 2020. That was yesterday Tuesday.

The newcomers to FC Luzern so far are midfielder Louis Schaub (on loan to 1. FC Köln) and center forward Yvan Alounga (from FC Aarau).
