They have been a couple for almost four years: former Miss Switzerland Dominique Rinderknecht (31) and model Tamy Glauser (35) met in late summer 2016.
In an interview with “SRF Virus,” she and her younger sister Noemi Rinderknecht recall the exciting moments SRF filmed.
“Domi, calm down”
As Miss Switzerland said in 2013, her sister was the first to learn of her love for women. It was even there when Glauser first came into play.
The sisters met the Bernese model at the exit. Dominique Rinderknecht was extremely nervous. “She was acting like a teenager,” says her sister.
A little later, Tamynique would have kissed in the middle of the club. “We got really close,” said the Zurich host. As this happened in public, his sister intervened. She stepped in and said, “Domi, calm down. There are other people here and they all see it. ”Tamynique was not very impressed by this, however they went to the bathroom together.
Meanwhile, her sister wondered what her father or grandmother would say about it. At that time, the ex-lady didn’t really care: “It was an interesting stage for me, I was totally on a journey of discovery and nothing could stop me.”
His father found out by accident.
Eventually her father found out about her and Glauser by chance. After Tamynique went to see Rinderknecht’s sister as a hairdresser, they kissed on the street outside.
Since Rinderknecht’s father also had an appointment with his youngest daughter’s hairdresser, he showed up right then and there. Rinderknecht later learned that he saw her kiss through a voicemail from his sister.
Noemi Rinderknecht says: “She came to see me and asked what exactly was between Dominique and Tamy. I just said they were good colleagues. “But he did not let any falsehoods be told to him and replied,” Do you have the feeling that I am stupid? I have known for a long time. I saw them kiss. “
The ex-miss was relieved that her father found out this way. “I was glad I didn’t have to stand in front of him and tell him that I’m dating a woman now.”
“That is totally normal today”
Then events happened. Just a week later, they all went on vacation together in the south of France. She broke the news to her grandmother over the phone while on vacation. Despite some concerns, she too took the message lightly. The 31-year-old says, “All she said was, ‘Ah, that’s totally normal these days.’
Tamy Glauser has been part of the Rinderknecht family ever since. “The whole world wants her. She is part of us and is treated in exactly the same way, ”said the ex-lady. Noemi Rinderknecht adds: “Tamy is like a sister to me.” (frk)
