On a flight from Cairo to London, an Egypt Air plane had to make an unscheduled landing in Munich. A woman had on board
Flight MS777 took off from Cairo on Tuesday (September 15) with little delay. Egpyt Air’s Boeing 737-800 was destined for London Heathrow. But instead of landing in the British metropolis, it landed on runway 08R at Munich airport at lunchtime.
The reason for the unscheduled landing: An 18-year-old woman from Yemen gave birth to a daughter on board. In fact, she wanted to travel with her mother to her partner, who lives in London, to give birth there. But during the flight, she suddenly went into labor.
Mother and daughter recover in hospital
Therefore, the pilot of the machine decided to make an alternative landing in Munich. “At first glance, mother and daughter are doing well and recovering in a nearby hospital,” Federal Police said at Munich airport. At passport control, “they naturally turned a blind eye to the little lady due to the lack of the travel document.”
