In Chur there was a traffic accident on Malixerstrasse on Saturday afternoon (September 12, 2020). Despite oncoming traffic, a motorcyclist collided with a mail bus while passing. The Chur city police are looking for witnesses.
A motorcyclist drove down Malixerstrasse from Malix around 3:15 pm As the last of a group of motorcycles, he hit a post bus at the Pramatenweg level immediately before a left turn.
At the same moment, a car approached him at the Chur curve. As a result, the motorcyclist was trapped between the car and the post bus. The motorcycle driver turned right to avoid the car.
He touched the postbus in the area at the front of the vehicle with the right side of his motorcycle. The Postbus driver immediately initiated an emergency stop. The motorcyclist was able to stay on his machine. Not caring about the damage done, he headed towards Chur.
The Postbus driver and his passengers were not injured. The postbus suffered minor damage.
