(lim) The renovation of the St. Gallen city highway threatens to be delayed. According to the Federal Highway Office (Astra), a complaint about the project has been received, as media spokesman Julian Räss told the FM1Today online portal. This is likely to delay the schedule, even if the complaint is dismissed:

“As of now, we cannot say when the main work can start.”

The objection concerns the street sewage treatment plant

The Astra does not tell FM1Today which parts of the project the complaint refers to. The truth, however, is that it is an objection to the so-called wastewater treatment plant. This system cleans rainwater from busy roads before it is released into nature.

Currently, the complaint is pending in the Federal Administrative Court of Saint Gallen. The Federal Administrative Court does not provide any information on the time until the sentence is announced.
