Ticino and Basler will live up to their favorite 100m role at the Swiss Championship in Basel.
Ajla Del Ponte secured his first Swiss championship title in Basel. The Ticino woman was in her own class over 100m and won in 11.27 seconds ahead of Cynthia Reinle and Natacha Kouni. Del Ponte lost her personal record set in July by 0.19 seconds.

Fabienne Schlumpf clinched the women’s over 5000m championship title. The Zurich woman won the race in 16: 30.18 minutes ahead of Chiara Scherrer and Nicole Egger. Nicola Spirig was also at the beginning. The triathlete finished fifth in 16: 46.73 minutes.
In the men’s category, Jonas Raess lived up to his favorite role at 5,000m. The one from Zurich won in 14: 02.09 minutes ahead of Dominic Lokinyomo Lobalu and Max Studer.
