Last night there was a rear-end collision between four cars on the A2 motorway in Lucerne. Five people were injured, and two people were taken to the hospital by the ambulance service. A dog that was transported was also injured and taken to a veterinary clinic. A breathalyzer test performed on the alleged culprit showed a value of 0.54 mg / l.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, shortly before 9:00 pm, several vehicles were traveling north on the A2 motorway in Lucerne. Due to the slow traffic, the vehicles had to stop. A driver realized this too late, resulting in a massive rear-end collision between four cars. Five people were injured in the accident. Two of them were taken to a hospital by two teams from the 144 ambulance service. Another dog was injured in the accident. This was taken to a veterinary clinic.
A breath test performed on the presumed cause of the collision returned a value of 0.54 mg / l. A blood sample was ordered from the 49-year-old man from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, his driver’s license was removed for the attention of the administrative authority. The accident caused property damage of about 80,000 francs.
