Police detained two Swiss drivers after an illegal race on a motorway in southern Germany. On Saturday they were driving on the A81 near Empfingen about 75 kilometers north of Schaffhausen, sometimes at over 200 km / h.
As the German police headquarters in Pforzheim announced on Sunday, the two highly motorized cars with Swiss license plates initially slowed traffic. Then the drivers ran a race shortly after 8.30pm
Traffic police inspection officials managed to arrest one of the drivers, a 27-year-old Swiss, shortly after the Villingen-Schwenningen motorway crossing. The second driver, a 26-year-old Kosovar living in Switzerland, was arrested by officers of the German federal police and the border guard at the border with Switzerland.
