Racism protests in the US – Portland police shoot dead an anti-fascist activist

Michael Forest Reinoehl, a suspected suspect in the shooting of a right-wing extremist in Portland, Oregon, has died, according to multiple US media reports, he was killed Thursday as police tried to arrest him. About Reinoehl’s death, Ray Brady of the sheriff’s office said in an interview that an emergency services team was looking for “a murder suspect” who got into a car. “There were shots when they tried to arrest him,” Brady said. Four officers pulled the trigger. His office heard that the suspect was carrying a weapon, but it is not yet clear if it existed and was fired upon.
