A man attacked the Raiffeisenbank office in Erlen on Thursday morning (September 3, 2020). Thurgau canton police are looking for witnesses.
The attacker entered the bank’s branch on Bahnhofstrasse shortly before 9:30 am He threatened the employee and asked for the cash to be returned. The perpetrator left the building with the loot at an unknown height and fled in an unknown direction. No one was injured in the robbery.
The search by the Thurgau canton police, which began immediately, has so far been unsuccessful. The forensic service secured the traces at the crime scene.
The perpetrator is described as being about 180 centimeters tall. He was wearing a black Nike jacket with a hood, dark pants, sunglasses, a red and black baseball cap, and black leather gloves. He was masked with a hygienic mask and also carried a Lidl shopping bag with him.
