From temporary work to work that still needs time: Nicole Burth (48) will become a member of Swiss Post Group Management in January 2021. At the same time, Burth heads the new communication services division, which is currently being created.
Burth was recently head of the personnel service provider Adecco Switzerland. There he held the position for the past 15 years, including as CFO and CEO, responsible for more than 1,000 employees. When asked about her new job, she herself, a mother of two living in the canton of Zurich, says: “The last few months have clearly demonstrated how important ‘digital confidentiality of letters’ and the associated digital transformation will be. in the future”.
What exactly is your new job at Swiss Post? With Burth’s help, previous physical correspondence should move seamlessly into digital information transport “while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.” This also included existing digital offerings, such as e-health, which includes the patient’s electronic medical record, or electronic voting. Thanks to the Burth digitizer, Swiss Post also wants to expand its role as a provider in the healthcare sector and in dealing with the authorities.
