The challenge for those affected and for medicine: there is no typical course of a Covid infection. An infection with the virus can continue without any symptoms, but it can also be very serious.

Rather, the course of an influenza infection is better understood. It is typical for them that the fever comes on suddenly and increases rapidly, while experience has shown that the fever increases more slowly with Covid-19. The same applies to a common cold – symptoms usually intensify and multiply over a longer period of time.
