Audi driver ran towards mom in handcuffs

It is around 8:15 am when a police siren erupts on a peaceful Monday morning in Zurich’s Werdstrasse. An Audi tries to escape from a policeman on a motorcycle. The maneuvers are risky. “It crashed almost twice until the officer succeeded and approached the Audi with his motorcycle,” witness Ueli T. * (35) tells BLICK. When the Audi finally comes to a stop, the officer draws his gun and yells, “If I say stop, it also means stop!”

The situation seems to be under control. But far from that: at the wheel of the Audi is Rafael L. * (24), who does not like the police very much. He can still be handcuffed and cooperates at first. “I’ve been sleeping in the car for a week,” residents heard him yell. Then all of a sudden he starts running, leaving the passenger, his husky and the police officer in shock. “I just couldn’t keep up with him. He was wearing his motorcycle gear, ”says Julia T. * (34), another resident.
