After a robbery on Saturday night in Bischofszell, Thurgau canton police arrested the two perpetrators.
On Saturday morning, shortly after 2 a.m., a 26-year-old man appeared at the cantonal emergency call center and stated that he had been assaulted, beaten and robbed by two acquaintances in Türkeistrasse. The 26-year-old was slightly injured in the robbery and went to a doctor independently.
The two defendants, a 28-year-old Swiss and a 25-year-old Swiss from the region, were arrested by the Thurgau canton police that night respectively. Arrested Saturday morning. During questioning, they confessed to following their colleague after going to the bar together and using physical force to take his wallet.
The reason for the discussion was an unpaid bill after a joint visit to the bar. The Bischofszell prosecutor’s office is conducting a criminal investigation into the two men.
