In early December, a man was seriously wounded by several shots at Zurich Seebach. Now researchers are turning to the population.

On the afternoon of December 8, 2019, a man reported to the Zurich city police. He was on the phone in Seebach and was being followed, he said. When the police moved to Glatttalstrasse 118, they found the man seriously injured. He said that several strangers had chased him near the Leimgrübelstrasse bus stop and shot him several times. The perpetrators then fled.
Despite the investigations and numerous surveys carried out by the Zurich Cantonal Police in cooperation with the Prosecutor I (serious violent crime), the crime has not yet been clarified. That is why the Zurich Cantonal Police now offers a reward of up to CHF 5,000.
Based on the current state of knowledge, the perpetrators of the crimes are described in the police statement as follows:
- The first author and shooter is between 40 and 50 years old, a height of 175 to 185 cm, a corpulent and half bald stature. He was wearing a blue jacket with an inscription.
- The second offender is between 20 and 25 years old, is between 175 and 185 cm tall, slender, has wavy black hair and wears a poor quality tracksuit.
- The third offender is between 20 and 25 years old, height from 170 to 180 cm, slim, wearing a light jacket or hooded sweater, ripped jeans, white shoes and a dark baseball cap.
The cantonal police ask those who can provide information on the attempted murder or the identity of the perpetrators to register at 044 247 22 11. A reward of up to 5,000 francs is suspended for information leading to the author’s arrest.
