Bayern Munich’s mega task is waiting for the promoted Berlin Union to restart the Bundesliga on Sunday (6 p.m.). Without coach Urs Fischer on the sidelines?
The former FCB coach left the “Iron” training camp on short notice Wednesday. For “private reasons”, as Oliver Ruhnert, manager of the Union explains (48). As the “picture” writes, an illness in the family should be the reason.
If Fischer misses the game against Bayern, his assistants, Markus Hoffmann (47) and Sebastian Bönig (39), would have to coach the team.
A prerequisite for Fischer to be sidelined on Sunday is a negative crown test on Saturday. The one on Tuesday, like the rest of the team, was negative for him. (mpe)
