Municipal services, university clinics, associations and non-governmental organizations, as well as 80 volunteers contributed to the solidarity campaign. On Saturday, 662 people were still in need. Organizers continued to honor donor solidarity. About 800 individuals deposited the packages on Friday. The “Partage” organization, which distributes food to the poor, also provided around eight tons of pasta, rice, oil, sugar, preserves and hygiene products.
Oatmeal, cocoa and coffee were also dispensed in the pockets. Local producers also controlled four tons of fresh produce in separate packages.
