Baselland
The two Basles recorded 267 positive Covid 19 tests over the weekend. The numbers were lower on Sunday.
In both Basles, the rise in coronavirus infections continued to weaken on Monday. So far there have been a total of 2,245 positive cases in the canton of Basel-Stadt and 2,215 in the canton of Baselland.
In the canton of the city, 41 new infections were registered on Sunday compared to 81 the previous day. In Baselland, the number of people who tested positive for coronavirus fell from 83 to 71 during the same period. This can be seen in the corona statistics on the websites of the two cantons.
In the canton of Baselland, 27 people with Covid-19 were hospitalized on Monday, four more than on Sunday. Four people were in the intensive care unit and had to be ventilated. In the canton of Basel-Stadt, no information on those hospitalized was released on Monday.
