Biden Brings Important Swaying States: The State of Things Thursday Morning
Joe Biden won the two swing states of Wisconsin and Michigan on Thursday night. Results for the states of Georgia and Nevada should be announced Thursday. If Biden wins only one of these states, he will be the next president of the United States.
First of all: It can take several days or even weeks.until all votes for the US presidential election are counted and the winner is determined. Due to the crown pandemic, more Americans than usual voted by mail. In Pennsylvania, for example, card votes are not expected to be fully counted until Friday. Because the winner receives 20 electoral votes, Pennsylvania is a particularly important state.

However, the race could will be decided on Thursday. The result is still open in these states:
- Georgia (98 percent of votes counted)
with 16 voters - Nevada (75 percent of votes counted)
with 6 voters - North Carolina (94 percent of votes counted)
with 15 voters - Pennsylvania (89 percent of votes counted)
with 20 voters
Donald Trump currently has 56 votes left for a victory. His challenger Joe Biden is ahead with just 6 votes left.
That is the intermediate result
Final results are not expected for North Carolina and Pennsylvania on Thursday. In Georgia and Nevada, however, there could be a showdown on Thursday. And this is what it currently looks like for the two candidates there:
- Georgia
Trump: 50.2 percent 👈
Biden: 48.6 percent
Votes difference (5:45 am): 31,306 - Nevada
Trump: 48.7 percent
Biden: 49.3 percent 👈
Votes difference (5:45 am): 7,653
This is how Biden wins
If Biden also wins in Georgia, the outcome of the presidential election will be clear: with 280 electoral votes would be the winner.

Biden’s victory in Nevada is enough. Because with these six electoral votes he would get exactly 270.
This is how Trump wins
Even if Trump Georgia win, it will be difficult for him. Then it would include 230 electoral votes. If he can catch up with Biden in Nevada, he would get 236 votes. If you add North Carolina, which is only counted later, but where Trump is clearly ahead, the president has 251 votes, still not enough for a victory.

In that case, you would have to vote at 20 Pennsylvania I hope it is not counted until the end of this week. In 2016 he won just ahead of Hilary Clinton in the state, and in 2012 the disputed place went to Barack Obama.
Donald Trump must now win in all the remaining states.
