After a serious accident on the A2 freeway near Buochs NW, a 20-year-old man left his damaged sports car without starting in the middle of the road at night and fled. Hours later, he reported to the police.
The young driver and his co-pilot collided with a central barrier shortly after 3 am early Saturday while driving south, according to the Nidwalden cantonal police. Subsequently, the police officers discovered the completely demolished vehicle. There was no sign of the prisoners.
During the afternoon, the man from Nidwalden reported to the authorities. He admitted to having caused the accident and to having left the vehicle on the road.
