This morning three cars collided with each other at the Gäuerhof junction in Altishofen. One person had to be hospitalized. The accident caused property damage of about 135,000 francs.
On Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 4:30 am, two motorists drove in a single file from Altishofen in the direction of Dagmersellen. At the Gäuerhof junction, they both wanted to turn left onto a company site.
During the turning maneuver of the first vehicle, there was a massive frontal collision with a car traveling simultaneously from Dagmersellen along the cantonal road in the direction of Altishofen.

The straight-ahead car was swerved to the left by the collision, where it collided with the second stationary vehicle that was also about to turn.
The driver of the stopped vehicle was injured and the ambulance service transferred him to a hospital. The other two drivers were unharmed.
The three cars involved suffered a total loss, the material damage amounting to about 135,000 francs. The dirty path had to be cleaned by a Zentras cleaning machine.
