Vikas Singh, a lawyer for Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, shared his thoughts on arresting Rick Chakraborty’s brother Shik Chakraborty of the Narcotics Control Bureau and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda over the Anglo of drugs surrounding the late actor’s death.
Yesterday, when it came to the ongoing case of Sushant Singh Rajput, there was a really surprising attitude. In the morning, the Narcotics Control Bureau raided the residences of Riya Chakraborty and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda, which was described as a “procedural matter”. Subsequently, Riya’s brothers Shok Chakraborty and Samuel were taken in for questioning and interrogated for hours. After the interrogation, the NCB arrested both Shoik and Samuel. Several reports claimed that the agency had evidence linked to Sushant. .
The NCB along with the CCI and the Enforcement Directorate were brought into the case after they were talking about Sushant taking drugs after Riya and Shik returned to WhatsApp chat. In a recent interview with Zoom TV, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh was asked for his two cents on mourning and Samuel’s arrest. “All I want to say is that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine what all the Mumbai police are hiding from everyone and this is just the tip of the iceberg,” Vikas shares.
Riya’s lawyer Satish Manashende said that in response to the ‘drug’ charge being a bailable offense, Vikas added in Zoom TV, “He says the drug charge is a bailable offense? Then I don’t even know what to say.”
In a statement to ANI, Vikas further said, “The fear of the family members arrested by the NCB proves that there was something big that the Mumbai police wanted to hide. Clearly, there are many angles in this case. Sushant Singh’s family is Rajput (hopefully more). Angle will come out. “
