Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles will become a soldier boy for the boys Season 3 | Movies

Graphic adaptation of the novel The boys has been successful for Amazon announcing the company a third season on this year’s Comic-Con @ Home panel. Now we know one of the new cast members who will appear – and it’s one that show runner Eric Kripke has some experience with: Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles.

The man who will soon (but probably forever) be known as Dean Winchester will play Solider Boy, who is in the Boys mythology was the first supe that Nazis ruled in World War II in a very capricious American way. While this is the subversive superhero show, we would expect there to be more to the story than that.

“When I was a kid, I had a crazy, impossible dream – to get Jensen Ackles out of profitable employment. I’m happy to say that the dream came true,” says Kripke. “Jensen is a great actor, an even better person, smells like hot chocolate candy cookies, and I consider him a brother. As Soldier Boy, the fiercest Superhero, he will bring so much humor, pathos and danger to the role I Can’t wait to be with him again and bring a bit of Supernatural no The boys. ”

Ackles also announced the gig on his own Instagram feed, and you can find that video below.

Depending on whether this news is discussed during the Empire Podcast this week, expect the quarter of the nipple yoke to skyrocket. The boys returns for Season 2 on September 4th.
